The year 2017 theme of the International Women’s Day was “Be Bold for Change” and we at AYE followed it in spirit and as well as action.
All the women in the head office and branches were Boldly dressed in RED. And despite our numbers being significantly lesser than the men in the organization, that day we made a statement. A Bold Statement!!
The Management also made us feel special by gifting each one of us flowers, candies and a thank you card. And realizing that the women are constantly juggling official and family commitments and get no time for themselves, they allowed us to go an hour early for some “me” time.
As an additional women’s day initiative, employees also sent in a few lines on women who inspired them, and how they did so:[/vc_column_text]
I feel each one of us has a super power within us and with purposeful collaboration between men & women, this super power will definitely unveil. So on this symbolic day, I urge our dear men to enable the women in their influence circle to prosper and I also appeal to my fellow women to work with men as a team to unleash our true potential!!
